De National Airlines Council of Canada (NACC), de handelsvereniging die de grootste luchtvaartmaatschappijen van Canada vertegenwoordigt, heeft vandaag de benoeming van de heer Massimo Bergamini tot nieuwe president en CEO aangekondigd, met ingang van 5 december 2016.
“We zijn erg blij dat Massimo Bergamini zich bij het NACC-team heeft aangesloten, met een uitgebreide publieke belangstelling en expertise op het gebied van belangenbehartiging. Massimo heeft meer dan 25 jaar gewerkt op het gebied van overheidsrelaties, beleid en openbare aangelegenheden en met zijn leiderschap en begeleiding kijken we ernaar uit om het belangrijke werk van onze organisatie vooruit te helpen ”, aldus Mike McNaney, voorzitter van de Raad van Bestuur van NACC.
Voordat hij bij de NACC kwam, was de heer Bergamini uitvoerend directeur van Canada's Accredited Zoos and Aquariums (CAZA) en hielp hij de invloed van de organisatie uit te breiden en haar profiel in Canada en in het buitenland te versterken.
“Mr. Bergamini’s previous experience includes, founding, in 2008, InterChange Public Affairs, through which he provided government relations, communications and management consulting services to a broad range of clients, including federal, provincial and municipal governments as well as not- for-profit organizations. Prior to this, he managed government relations for the City of Montreal, where he headed its infrastructure lobby efforts. He also led the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ national campaign for a New Deal for Cities as well as its push for long-term infrastructure funding.”
